Creating a GSA Trophy
GSA Trophies takes the shoe or racing plate through a complex cleaning, polishing and plating process which will see it ready for the final mounting on the plaque.
The timber plaque is laser engraved with the horses name and a fixed brass plate is also attached describing the horses special achievement, breeding details or any other information you may want.

The polished and plated shoe or racing plate is then mounted upon the plaque and fixed with authentic nails.
Finally, a cast pewter disc ("the Badge") is inlaid and secured, it bears the official registration number of the shoe or racing plate trophy.

A "Tribute" trophy is created in exactly the same manner but because you don't have to supply the horse shoe or racing plate to be mounted, we supply one for you. Subsequently, a "Tribute" type trophy is not a registered trophy and is supplied without a unique registration number or seal of authenticity.
